Holyport Village Hall - Holyport War Memorial Hall
Holyport Village Hall, located in Holyport, Maidenhead, Berkshire was built in 1954 and then extended in 1985. Holyport Village Hall is set in its own grounds with a large car park, playing field, tennis court, children’s playground and Multi Use Games Area. Owned completely by the village and cared for mainly by volunteers, an elected management committee is wholly responsible for the upkeep and improvement of the hall, which is run on a non-profit-making basis. All money raised goes back into the hall for the benefit of the community and improvements are continually being made.
Holyport Village Hall is available for hire to organisations, non-residents, and residents of Holyport at competitive rates and is an ideal venue for meetings, conferences, wedding receptions, family parties, shows and fund-raising events etc.
Holyport War Memorial Hall ; Charitable Activities as registered at the charity commision :- The object of the charity is to provide a village hall and other amenities for the benefit of the inhabitants of Holyport and its immediate vicinity in the interests of social welfare. The activities include the hiring out the village hall to various local residents and groups at subsidised rates, at commercial rates to others and running the village fair.
Holyport War Memorial Hall ; Charitable Objects as registered at the charity commision :- 1. To provide or assist in providing for the inhabitants of the village of Holyport [Hereinafter called the area of benefit] facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. 2. The property specified in the said schedule shall be held upon trust for use as a village hall and recreation ground in furtherance of the said objects.
